What Dr. Sam Jejurikar Has to Say About Breast Augmentation

Plastic surgery is an ever evolving practice like any other area of medicine. It’s similar to technology in that it’s changing daily. New products and new procedures are beginning to crop up this year, and this means that there will be some changes in the area of breast augmentation. The question is whether or not the changes are good.

There will now be breast implant shells along with breast implant gel. Silicone implants have gotten a bad rap. Silicone implants have been around for decades, but it’s important to educate yourself on breast implants and how they may impact your body and your life. There were multiple issues including shell ruptures from the these implants, along with a portion of them leaking.

The result was always pain for the patient, as well as a need for procedures to repair or remove these implants. Now things have changed. There are now better implants with better and thicker gel, as well as improving the actual shell. A better implant shell would ensure that the chances of leaking would be significantly lower, also reducing the risk of rupture.

Another fascinating way of reducing the rupture of the capsules around the implants are to use various types of antibiotics. Reducing the amount of biofilm around the implants could possibly be the answer for those who have been subject to poor conditions and bacteria around the shell of the breast implant.

Last but not least, Dr. Jejurikar takes great steps to communicate with his patients prior to the procedure. There are also various considerations to make when choosing the size of the implant. Dr. Jejurikar is without a doubt one of the most innovative and caring plastic surgeons in the field today.

The Experience and Dedication of Dr. Sameer Jejurikar

Dr. Sameer Jejurikar is a Dallas-based cosmetic surgeon who is dedicated to his profession. He is also dedicated to making surgery safer for patients in general.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Jejurikar has since gained recognition in his more than two decades of medical service in the Dallas area. Currently in private practice, he is also associated with several local medical facilities, including Baylor Medical Center, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital and the famed Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute.

Although Jejurikar is experienced in a number of cosmetic procedures, he specializes in gluteal augmentation surgery, which is better known as the Brazilian Butt Lift. This technique, which has become increasingly popular in recent years, involves the transfer to the buttocks area of fat that has been taken another part of the patient’s body.

In his effort to improve the safety of the Brazilian Butt Lift, Jejurikar has joined a group of plastic surgeons who have combined their knowledge of the subject. This task force conducts forums and workshops to help other medical professionals recognize and avoid complications that may arise with the procedure. Though rare, a potentially life-threatening complication is a fat embolism, a condition that occurs when tissue becomes clogged in a blood vessel.

In addition to his medical work, Jejurikar has published numerous articles in medical journals and has conducted national presentations on various medical issues. He is also known for taking his medical expertise outside of the United States to help patients in other parts of the world. Among other honors, he has received the Patients’ Choice Compassionate Doctor Certificate. His dedication has earned him praise from both patients and fellow doctors.
