As a young entrepreneur, Dr. Avi Weisfogel opened his first dental clinic in 1999 in Old Bridge, NJ. Dr. Avi Weisfogel spent 15 years as manager and dentist receiving the award for “Best Dentist” multiple times.
But. Dr. Weisfogel earned a degree in psychology as well as biology from Rutgers University with sleep apnea and sleep disorders his major interest. During the 15 years he spent dedicating himself to his dental practice, he was also researching the causes of sleep disorders and how dentists and doctors could help their patients with these issues.
Weisfogel founded a company called Healthy Heart Sleep in 2010 where he began assisting physicians around the world on establishing sleep labs. Healthy Heart Sleep quickly became a center where physicians could get pertinent information for their patients with sleep issues.
In 2012, Dr. Weisfogel founded the Owner Unlimited Sleep Patient agency and used it as a platform to lecture on topics to increase and serve sleep disorder patients; he didn’t stop there.
In 2014, he founded Dental Sleep Masters for the purpose of continuing to assist dentists by informing them about oral appliances to treat the sleep disorders. At this point in his career, he has combined both of his major interests, dentistry and sleep disorders, and he is one of the first to do this.
All four businesses are located in New Jersey, and Dr. Weisfogel is CEO and manager of all, but today, he and his wife together manage Dental Sleep Masters, which reaches out internationally. This is exciting and interesting for the Weisfogels because they realize the value of physicians from around the world sharing information to promote successful treatments.
Dr. Weisfogel believes in family values, and he and his wife have six children. Several years ago, he was introduced to Operation Smile, which is an organization that gives children in depressed countries dental treatments and facial surgeries including cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities. He recently started a GoFundMe page for donations and plans to raise $2,000 for the cause. Dr. Avi Weisfogel represents three significant area: dentistry treating sleep disorders and entrepreneurship.
